Why was I told the Truth: that I have rebelled against my Creator, but there is forgiveness through Jesus Christ, and not a lie?
Why did I believe instead of rejecting that Truth?
Why did God choose to love me?
Why did He give up heaven to come live and die for me?
Why is the Truth at first worse than the worst horror story, and then better than the most profoundly, wildly joyful happy ending?
But Christ did come. God does love me. The Truth is better than we could have possibly imagined.
Merry Christmas.
"I have held many things in my hands, and I have lost them all; but whatever I have placed in God's hands, that I still possess."

A soft answer turns away wrath,
but a harsh word stirs up anger.
The tongue of the wise commends knowledge,
but the mouths of fools pour out folly.
